Boarding at Hatherop Castle School is entering an exciting new chapter.
From September 2026, we’ll be introducing a fresh approach to boarding, designed around the way families live today. Rather than traditional full boarding, we’ll be offering an exceptional weekly boarding experience for children in Prep 3 to Prep 8, giving them all the benefits of boarding with the flexibility that modern family life deserves.
Whether it’s one night or, even better, two nights a week, our new boarding model allows our children to enjoy the friendships, independence and unforgettable experiences that make boarding so special, while still spending plenty of time at home.
It’s the very best of both worlds.

By grouping year groups together on suggested boarding evenings, children can board alongside their friends, making every stay something they genuinely look forward to each week.
