Prep 1 children at Hatherop Castle brought joy to their parents with their creative storytelling. They used story maps to perform twisted tales based on "The Sweetest Song" from "The Story Tree," showcasing their ability to change characters, settings, problems, and solutions. Their performances were enhanced with expressive actions and movements, featuring characters like mermaids, snow leopards, turtles, and rabbits. The children impressed with their use of ambitious adjectives and adverbials. Despite the snowy weather, the event was cosy and heart-warming, with a fire, hot chocolate, and plenty of smiles.
