Although our physical doors are closed for all except key workers, our Admissions Team is still working hard and are always on hand to discuss the needs of your family.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our beautiful school. During this challenging time, we are adapting the way we are working with you. Please be assured we are very much still here to support and guide you in planning for your child’s educational future.
We hope that our website, videos and digital prospectus give you a flavour of what our school has to offer. We would be delighted to show you around just as soon as we can. However, for now, please do get in touch with our Admissions Team via the button below or using the details found on our contact us page. From here we will be able to find out more about your child and we will also be able to tell you more about our admissions process, our school and all that we have to offer.
We look forward to meeting you, albeit in the virtual world for the time being.
Our Virtual Admissions Process
Step 1 – Make an Enquiry & Request Our Prospectus
Call, email or click above to register an interest and tell us a little about your child. We will post you a copy of our prospectus and our Registrar, Samantha Kinch will be in touch shortly to discuss your interest in the school.
Step 2 – Have a virtual tour and meet the Headmaster via Video Call
Miss Kinch will arrange for you to have a video chat with Mr Reed, Headmaster and he will be able to answer any questions you may have.
This will give us the opportunity to get to know your child and you as a family a little better.
Step 3 – School Report Request
We will ask you to provide your child’s most up to date School Report from their current school.
Any details we feel need to be discussed will be done verbally by our Admissions Team or Mr Reed.
Step 4 – Acceptance of Place
Providing we are satisfied with the video chat and School Report, we will then formally write to you with an offer of a place, together with all the relevant admission forms. Acceptance of a place will be required by paying the registration fee and deposit and completing, signing and returning the acceptance forms. All of this will be explained to you when we speak to you.
If school re-opens before your child is due to start school at Hatherop Castle and providing the Government Guidelines allow, we will invite your child to have a taster day so they are able to gain a feel for the school and make friends before starting full time.
