Meet One of Our Rising Stars! We’re so proud of one of our Year 7 gymnasts who has been making incredible progress over the past few months.

In September, she competed in two major competitions. At the first event in Basingstoke, she earned Silver on Bars, Bronze on Beam and Vault, and placed 4th overall. At her home gym competition in Carterton, she went even further – Gold on Bars, Bronze on Beam and Vault, and 3rd overall!

As a result, she qualified for the South Regional Finals, achieving the highest score on Bars in Oxfordshire. This is an amazing achievement, especially considering that her previous gym closed suddenly last year, leaving her unable to compete for 15 months and training only 6 hours a week.

Now, she’s thriving at her new gym, training 12–15 hours a week and preparing for the next competition. Over half term, she headed to Lilleshall, the GB and England training centre, for a two-day camp.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for her as she continues her gymnastic journey. Watch this space for updates on her progress and upcoming competitions!
