A Show-Stopping Wriggly Nativity at Hatherop Castle School

This week, our youngest pupils took to the stage for a truly magical performance of The Wriggly Nativity, and what an afternoon it was! With nearly 100 children aged 2 to 6 on stage at one time, the Pre-Prep and Nursery delivered a heart-warming, joy-filled retelling of the Christmas story that had the whole audience smiling from start to finish.

From the moment the animals began their delightful dance to the angels’ beautiful centre-stage routine, the children shone with confidence, charm and plenty of festive sparkle. Mary and Joseph gave a show-stopping performance, delivering their lines with such clarity and poise that you could hear an audible “aww” from the crowd.

What stood out most was just how confidently every child took part, speaking clearly, singing proudly and embracing their moment on stage. Their courage and enjoyment were a true testament to the hard work, patience and creativity of the entire staff team, who have worked tirelessly to bring this Nativity to life.

We couldn’t be prouder of our youngest performers and the magical start they have given us to the festive season. We are very much looking forward to their final performance on Friday!
