A Rich and Rewarding Half-Term at Hatherop

At the start of term, pupils were encouraged to reflect on the idea that “a little goes a long way.” Looking back, this sentiment has been brought vividly to life through their learning, enthusiasm and kindness. Each lesson, activity, rehearsal and moment of curiosity has contributed to a half-term full of energy, purpose and achievement. Together, these small but meaningful contributions have created a wonderfully rich and varied school experience.

One of the undeniable highlights of the term was the Prep 6 and 7 production of Annie. The performance was a true celebration of talent and teamwork, with pupils delivering confident American accents, impressive вокals and polished choreography. A special mention must also go to Ronnie the dog, who delighted audiences in his memorable Hatherop stage debut.

As ever, the Lent Term has flown by, and it has been a pleasure to see the first signs of spring emerging across the school grounds. With the sound of lawn mowers returning and preparations underway, excitement is already building for the cricket season ahead. As we look towards the summer term, the Hatherop grounds will once again provide a vibrant backdrop for sport, learning and outdoor life.
