Immersion Programme for International Students

The Hatherop Castle Immersion Programme is designed to offer a fun, engaging and enriching taster of experience in a traditional British Boarding school which educates pupils up to the age of 13.

International pupils will be immersed in lessons and activities allowing them, for a 2-3 week period, to experience the Adventure of Childhood Hatherop Castle offers.

What will students experience on the Immersion Programme?

Pupils will board at Hatherop with our UK boarders, and enjoy all the benefits and opportunities of being part of a home-from-home boarding community. Housed on the top floor of the Castle, the pupils will live and learn with our UK pupils and will be able to experience a UK curriculum as well as develop and improve their written and spoken English.

We will provide a tailored timetable, designed to meet the pupil’s level of English. They will enjoy a balance of lessons, co-curricular and extra-curricular both with Hatherop pupils and via bespoke ‘English as an Additional Language’ lessons.

Programme duration: 2-4 weeks

Available dates: Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms available

Number of Pupils: 6-8 boys and girls during each of the weeks  

Age Range: From 9-13 years old (Year 4 to Year 8)  

Admissions process and entry requirements: 

A Zoom call will be set up with the Headmaster to discuss your stay and agree our terms and conditions. 

Cost: £1400 per week – inclusive of meals, trips, boarding activities and transfers.

Full payment must be received 4 weeks prior to arrival.
