Hatherop Castle Drama update

The Trinity term is an extremely busy one with regards to speech and drama. The Prep 1 to 4 children are concentrating on perfecting their poems for the performance evening at the PAC on 12^th June 2018. As well as reciting their poems in class they also enjoy having fun with the puppets whilst creating improvised scenarios. The upper school students are working hard towards their poetry speaking, solo and duologue acting scenes, prose speaking and prose reading performances in preparation for the Cheltenham Performing Arts Competitive Festival which commences on 12^th May 2018. The speech and drama term finalises with Prep 3 to 8 pupils embarking upon their Vanguard examinations. The senior school production rehearsals for ‘Gone With the Breeze’ are well under way and the children are hoping to ‘wow’ the audience with their acting and singing talent on 10^th and 11^th July 2018.
