Colts A v Kings’ Gloucester – Wednesday 6th June
Colts A had a wonderful game away at Kings Gloucester. Winning the toss we went into the field. Two excellent run outs from Oliver West and Ben Golley plus a superb catch from Freddie Meredith kept the home side down. Pick of the bowlers were Edison Wardle with 2 wickets and Archie Robertson with economic figures. With 135 to chase off 20 overs Ben Golley and Sam Farr started at a furious pace but were dismissed cheaply. In stepped Freddie Meredith and Kip O’Higgins to batter the bowlers all over the park. We chased the total with three overs to spare for a glorious 7 wicket victory.

Colts B v Kitebrook – Wednesday 6th June
The U11B match was played in a great spirit. The boys fielded first but despite some accurate bowling faced an aggressive batting side who scored a lot of runs. Our batting was not quite as good and despite the odd one or two fours and sixes we struggled to get close to their score.

U9A v St Hughs – Wednesday 6th June
The U9s had a lovely afternoon at St Hughs. HCS batted first against a strong fielding side and scored 60 runs with some impressive hitting and running. It was always going to be difficult to defend that score against such a strong cricketing side but the boys enjoyed the afternoon and finished in high spirits.
U11A/12 Rounders – Wednesday 6th June
On this sunny afternoon, the girls were determined to win. They started well and with some sharp fielding, they were able to keep Kitebrook’s score at 4 rounders. They then went on to hit very well, managing to score 8 ½ rounders. After a chat at half time, the goal was to keep Kitebrook behind our score after their second innings.
