Prep 6 Maths Challenge at Malvern St. James Tuesday 14th March 2017

On a beautiful spring afternoon four Prep 6 mathematicians took part in the Maths Challenge at Malvern St. James. It was a fun and furiously busy hour and a half of maths challenges where the pupils worked in pairs, running up to the markers with each answer before moving onto the next question – so not only the brain was exercised!

There were 18 schools taking part this year. The Prep 6 children put on a creditable performance in what is a very enjoyable afternoon where Douglas Buchanon, who runs these, sets the children at ease and promotes the fun aspect. Well done.
