Prep 1 visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park
On a slightly wet and damp day Prep 1 went on one of their favourite trips to carry out a people and amenity study, they spent the day counting people, finding bins, benches and maps in all the locations across the park.
There was also time for a look around the animals, one of the highlights was listening to an animal keeper at the park talking all about her job. The children even had the chance to feed wriggly worms to the very excited meerkats. We were able to ask lots of questions and learnt a lot about what it would be like to be a zookeeper.
In the afternoon when everyone was a little bit tired it was the perfect opportunity to have a ride on ‘Bella’ the train. It was a very fun outing and the children learnt a lot and got lots of information for their studies.
