Prep 1 Adventures In The Woods

Prep 1 returned to Forest School this week. We began the morning noticing the changes in the environment from our Summer sessions, and lots of children pointed out that a lot of leaves were changing color and starting to fall from the trees. We then shared ideas for future Forest School visits – building dens and toasting marshmallows were very popular offerings!

After a snack and a hot chocolate, Prep 1 had time to climb trees and explore the woods, making sure we obeyed the “No pick, no lick, be careful with that stick” rule of Forest School. We all had a fantastic morning and are looking forward to the rest of our time in the woods this term.
