Prep 1 Go ‘Through the Keyhole’

Prep 1 donned their aprons to transport them back to the Victorian era at the Corinium Museum. They were quickly put to work scrubbing, washing, ironing and beating rugs, as well as investigating toys and games. There was keen competition to see who could make the most bubbles using the washing board, with one pupil asking if it was break time because they were having so much fun! We then used our free time to explore the museum and learnt how different, life was in a Roman house as well as Saxon and Medieval times. Everyone enjoyed comparing their house and choosing their favorite artifacts to draw. What a fabulous day out!
