Hatherop Castle’s new Headmaster announced

Nigel Reed new Headmaster We are delighted to announce that Nigel Reed will be joining us as Hatherop Castle’s new Headmaster in September 2017.

Nigel was the front-runner in a field of strong candidates. Enthusiastic, committed and forward looking, it was quickly apparent that Nigel was a fantastic fit with Hatherop Castle. He brings a great deal of experience as a successful Deputy Head and former Director of Sport at the extremely well regarded Walhampton School in the New Forest. Like Hatherop Walhampton is a day and boarding prep school in a beautiful rural location with a warm and nurturing environment in which children can grow and thrive.

Nigel is married to Jo, another teacher with considerable prep school experience, and they have two sons. They are very much looking forward to the move to the Cotswolds.

We look forward to welcoming him to the school early in the New Year, when parents will be given the opportunity to meet him, and we are sure that great adventures lie ahead for the whole school community.
