Merry Christmas from Hatherop Castle
Christmas message from the Headmaster
The weeks have flown by and in my final assembly, I reviewed the activities of the term and by doing this realised what a busy school we are! However we seemed to have saved the busiest week until the last one!
As you will realise the snow caused much excitement and quite right too! Sunday with the boarders and Monday with those children who made it in was great fun, building snowman, sledging and the odd snow ball fight. Obviously the snow did cause some disruption to our schedule of events and I am grateful to you for being so flexible and patient with the revised plans.
Our Pre-Prep nativity although delayed by 24 hours was not affected at all and we were treated to a wonderful performance. Getting 100 children on stage at the right time and stand still is quite an achievement! Alongside the Christmas lunches, visits from FC, our chapel choir leading two Carol Services with their angelic and beautiful singing we have Christmas Open Morning to look forward to and I am looking forward to seeing the array of Christmas Jumpers on display.
As we break up for the holidays from all the staff team we would like to wish all members of the Hatherop community a very Happy, peaceful and safe Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
