It’s great to be back fencing again!

We are so delighted that once the school opens again on the 8th, all our clubs, including fencing, will be back up and running once more.

For the remaining sessions this term Year 2 will be looking to complete their first MiniSWORD awards focused on the FUNdamentals of movement. Years 3&4 will be finishing their Grade 1 British Fencing Award before moving onto Grade 2.

Pupils in the remaining years will be building on their knowledge so far, aiming for their Grade 3 or 4 as well as starting to train in epee or sabre or both. With the Fencer of the Week trophy to be won and stickers for perseverance, progress and helpfulness, there’s plenty for everyone to get stuck into! En garde……pres… ALLEZ!
