Cheltenham College Leadership Day – Prep 6 winners leading the way!
What a fantastic day some of the Prep 6 children had at the annual Cheltenham College Leadership Day. The children took part in 11 different activities against 9 other schools, which tested their communication, listening, observation and team work skills. The challenges included: a director leading a chain of 7 blindfolded children through a narrow pathway, communicating patterns to other team mates against the clock, throwing ‘grenades’ into buckets with only a team mate directing your launch, answering questions after watching a film clip to test observational skills, giant snap puzzles and the funniest of all had to be catching shuttlecocks in a bucket which was strapped to your head! Not only did everyone have a tremendous amount of fun and learnt some important team work and leadership skills, but Hatherop Castle came home with the winners trophy for the second year in a row – what an amazing achievement!
