Equestrian Team Update

The Equestrian Team have been busy…..firstly in the Easter Holidays, when 3 of our equine team competed in the 70 & 80 cm classes at Rectory Farm NSEA Arena Eventing. Despite all completing superb rounds, they were just out of the individual placings but came 3rd & 5th as a team, well done girls.

Lat weekend we had many riders out representing our school including the Grass Roots younger riders for their first event of the summer season. Well done to our 40cm team for all doing good rounds.

It was a first time in the Equine Team for one of our newest member of the team and she did brilliantly, producing two lovely rounds, which helped her to 5th place in the 50cm, we are delighted she has joined our growing team and definitely had the biggest smile on her face at prize giving especially when receiving her qualification card for the Hickstead Schools Champs, huge well done!

Another prep 3 child also did 2 lovely rounds in the 60 & 70CM classes, only just missing out on a rosette. He has worked so hard to improve his pony’s performance and it really shows, so I have no doubt there will be lots of rosettes to come from them.

Next up was one of our prep 5 children, who did a lovely round also on her pony Ping to finish 4th in the 70cm in a very competitive class of 39 riders…… very well done to you and your wonderful pony!

It was so lovely to have so many family members supporting and cheering the team on, Thank you for being there.

We are looking forward to hopefully more good results over the summer term with events lined up.
