January features trampoline parks and art sessions, February includes Cadbury's World and a treasure hunt, and March brings academic focus and tubing. Regular games nights and swimming ensure a balanced mix of fun, learning, and relaxation, creating memorable experiences for all.

This term in boarding at Hatherop Castle School has been exhilarating and transformative. We welcomed new boarders into our vibrant community, ensuring they felt at home from day one. A standout highlight was the introduction of our new game, Ghosts in the Garden, which quickly became a favourite, fostering laughter, teamwork, and fun. Our newly decorated dorms provided a cosy haven, with thoughtful touches and comfortable furnishings, creating true homes away from home. This term has been filled with connection, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging. We look forward to more growth and adventure in the coming terms!

Hatherop Castle School's Art Studio saw a busy term with students from Nursery to Prep Eight engaging in diverse art projects. Highlights include drawing skills, cubist Christmas trees, and Van Gogh-inspired sunflowers, culminating in over 30 stunning dioramas for the Art Challenge. The Aspire and Arts Award groups also showcased their talents.

The Santa Run united our school community, raising £1275 for Helen and Douglas House, showcasing our generosity and festive spirit.

Reception honoured Remembrance Day with creative poppy projects and wartime memorabilia, fostering empathy and respect. Later, they celebrated Diwali, the festival of light, through storytelling, shadow puppetry, Rangoli art, and crafting clay diva lamps. These activities encouraged cultural awareness, creativity, and engagement with diverse traditions at Hatherop Castle School.

Hatherop Castle’s Pre-Prep Harvest Festival was a joyful celebration, with pupils sharing poems, songs, and a delightful performance of The Little Red Hen. The event highlighted the spirit of community, with families generously donating to the Cirencester Food Bank. A heartfelt thanks to staff and families for making it truly memorable.
