Diwali Day

Today we celebrated Diwali, a popular Hindu festival commencing on Thursday 19th October. We had an assembly by Freya, Ellie and Ella who informed us about some of the Hindu practices, beliefs and customs.

Nursery to Pre-Prep made some lanterns and rangoli patterns, Prep 3-7 made clay Diwali lamps and Prep 8 made chicken curry. Then we all enjoyed a delicious Indian curry for lunch. We’ve all enjoyed a lovely day of celebration and fun!
