Budding historians learn vital study skills

Studying and analysing sources are vital skills to a budding historian and Prep 6 children have been casting their analytical eyes over Propaganda posters, produced during WWII. It is always music to a teacher’s ears when children are enthusiastic and so enjoying the work, that they are reluctant to leave the lesson in favour of break-time. ‘Please can we continue with this during break?’ came the plea from two enthralled pupils. As delighted as I am to witness this display of enthusiasm, a break is always good for staff and children alike. History at Hatherop continues to thrive.
