Computer Science Teacher

Candidates are invited to apply for the position of Computer Science Teacher for September 2017 or January 2018. Computer Science is highly valued within the school and pupils have access to Lego Robotics and a 3D printer amongst other resources. The School has won the local heats of the First Lego League competition for the past two years. Candidates are sought who can demonstrate a track record of high quality teaching and a particular enthusiasm for all things technological. Full support on the curriculum will be given by the Wishford Schools group’s Head of Technology. Candidates with an interest in taking a role within the Boarding House should note this in their covering letter. Accommodation may be available.

Part-time grounds person

A part-time grounds person is required to work as part of a team or as an individual to maintain the school grounds and sports pitches.

Duties will include mowing and strimming, hedge cutting, planting, weeding and pruning. Maintaining sport pitches, line marking and checking playground apparatus. It will also involve maintenance of the onsite sewage treatment plant.

The successful person will be required to work in all weathers, at height and use and maintain grounds machinery. A good knowledge of gardening or grounds care experience required.

Normal Hours of Work are 08:00-16:30 three days a week. Annual salary £20,000 p.a. (pro-rata) payable over 12 months
