Achievement Through Wellbeing
Achievement through Wellbeing is a multi-agency approach to the well-being of young people from birth to 19. It involves schools, police, social services, health care professionals and anyone working with children working together, sharing information where necessary to ensure that young people are supported and given the opportunities to:
Stay Safe
- Be Healthy
- Enjoy and Achieve
- Make a Positive Contribution
- Achieve Economic Well-being
ECM also involves giving children a voice, teaching them to make informed choices and giving them the tools to achieve their potential and live happy lives. At Hatherop Castle School we already deliver these requirements and through a series of observations we are seeing that opportunities are given for children to achieve the above outcomes not just in the classroom but also at play time, moving around the school grounds and during whole school activities such as:
- Life Education Caravan
- Anti-bullying day
- Maths day
- Prep 8 work experience
- School visits and field trips
