Extra Curricular

Hatherop Castle has a wide range of extra curricular activities on offer. In the pre-prep department after school clubs run until 4.15, in order to coincide with the end of the day in the Prep department. There are usually three clubs on offer Tuesday to Friday, one of which is always creche. The other two change termly and can include reading club, outdoor games etc

In the main school clubs run until 5.30pm. The children have a drink and snack before starting their clubs. Clubs change each term, but can include:

Chess
Spanish
Card Making
Fitness
Senior Chapel Choir
by invitation
ICT
Photography
Tennis

There is also the opportunity to attend Prep sessions after clubs. These run until 6pm and 6.30pm.

Many children take the opportunity to learn musical instruments, participate in ballet, judo and tennis lessons. Others may like to have individual or shared Speech and Drama lessons. These are all charged as optional extras.
